Students learn the fundamentals of chess while developing strategic thinking, problem-solving, concentration, and decision-making skills. Through guided instruction, hands-on play, and age-appropriate challenges, students will learn how each piece moves, basic tactics and strategies, opening principles, and how to plan ahead. Whether brand new to chess or a seasoned player, this class provides opportunities to build confidence, sharpen skills, and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive environment.
